The Happy Trees Trail Club brand was designed to feel like a warm welcome into the woods — grounded, encouraging, and full of heart. From the soft, earthy tones to the friendly typography and hand-drawn brand elements, every piece of this custom branding kit was made to reflect the gentle confidence and nature-loving joy that this budding club brings to the trails. It’s a visual identity that feels like a deep breath of fresh air: approachable, a little whimsical, and rooted in connection.
This wasn’t just about making things look good — it was about capturing a feeling. The kind you get when you're surrounded by trees and kind people, with your boots on the ground and your mind at ease. The brand style sheet, logo variations, and visual direction are all tailored to support the club’s growth while staying true to their mission of making hiking feel safe, supportive, and just plain happy.

The Characters
The Happy Tree characters were brought to life to reflect the quirky, heartfelt spirit of the Happy Trees Trail Club—and the wonderful mix of people who might find joy out on the trail. Each tree has its own vibe and story, meant to feel both playful and deeply human.
There’s Wallace, the shaggy-headed willow with mellow energy and a warm, welcoming wave. Ripley, a one-armed stump with a giant grin and brand-new sprouts—symbolizing growth, resilience, and showing up just as you are. Jasper, the ever-chill evergreen tossing up a peace sign, brings laid-back vibes and quiet confidence to the bunch. And then there’s Owen, the stout, jolly oak with a big nose and even bigger heart—always ready to make you laugh and remind you not to take things too seriously.
Together, they represent the spirit of Happy Trees Trail Club: approachable, encouraging, and joyfully imperfect. Whether you’re a nervous first-timer or a seasoned hiker, these little tree-friends are here to say, “You belong here.”
