Before touching a single pixel, I dig deep to understand the problem we’re solving and, more importantly, why it needs solving. I ask enough questions to make sure the design will actually move the needle instead of just looking pretty.

Next, I start throwing ideas onto paper or the screen, sketching rough concepts, wireframes, and even testing ideas with AI. This is my playground for creativity, where I explore a variety of solutions before committing to anything.

I dive into competitor and user research to understand how the design should function to achieve its goal. This also helps me spot where others are getting it wrong so we can do it right.

I pick the strongest ideas and develop them into polished options. Every detail, layout choice, and visual element is deliberate, ensuring the design isn’t just attractive but effective.

I show my work to peers, supervisors, clients, and sometimes even my mom to see how others interpret the message. Feedback fuels refinement and helps me avoid blind spots.

I tweak and revise until the design is perfect, then overdeliver. Files are organized, packaged with all necessary formats, and accompanied by process notes in a tidy file tree so nothing is lost in translation.

I stick around to see how the design performs. I’m naturally curious about the data, analyzing results to learn, iterate, and improve future solutions.
